NEVER LOSE YOUR LOVE AGAIN

Should I tell you I was wrong, to place my life upon a screen?
I hadn't thought what it would mean, to take my love inside a dream
Chasing hours, oh how they'd come, strung together one by one
To tempt a fate I hoped to find, with lasting visions in only mind.

I knew you'd never touch my heart. I kept much distance from the start.
I've been a fool that wouldn't see, now holding on so desperately.
Give me a chance to make amends, and let me show you that I care.
By being close when your around, and hold the magic never found.

Refrain:
Should only lovers touch the sky? And only sinners have regrets?
To have a life for all to see? Is not the life I wish for me!
If I could reach into your soul and touch the melody that sings
And hear that voice that makes me smile and keep these moments for a while.
If I could hold you in my arms and touch the love I've left behind
And cause the course of time to bend and never lose your love again.

And for the time that's passed me by and all the love I couldn't see
Can't bring you back to ease the pain the love you've given me in vain.
Just hold me close again once more I promise you to not ignore
Oh so much more I plan to give just come on back and let me live.

If I could bring back making love, or time together not apart
And hope tomorrow I should start to feel you near this brave new heart.
So please do tell me before I go if I'm still a lonesome fool
Or if you'd care to change my strife by being here to share my life.

Refrain:
Can only lovers touch the sky? Should only sinners have regrets?
To have a life for all to see? Is not the life I wish for me!
If I could reach into your soul and touch the melody that sings
And hear that voice that makes me smile and keep these moments for a while.
If I could hold you in my arms and touch the love I've left behind
And cause the course of of time to bend and never lose your love again.
